About

What I Do

I lead end-to-end delivery of complex transformation programmes, specialising in project recovery, digital platforms, SaaS migrations, and enterprise stakeholder environments.

I work at the intersection of business strategy, technology delivery, and execution. My focus is turning complex requirements into structured delivery plans — from concept through to implementation — with particular expertise in rescuing projects that have gone off track.

I add the most value where multiple stakeholders, systems, vendors, and dependencies need to be aligned to achieve a practical business outcome, especially under pressure of budget, schedule, or governance failure.

  • Project recovery and forensic programme analysis
  • Digital transformation and SaaS/PaaS cloud migration
  • CRM and ERP implementation (including Salesforce, Orion CIS)
  • Enterprise governance, risk, and compliance frameworks
  • C-suite, Board, and cross-functional stakeholder management
  • Vendor procurement, RFP management, and offshore team leadership
  • Cybersecurity, Privacy Impact Assessment (PIA), and DR/BCP

Selected Delivery Impact

These examples show how David structures, leads, and delivers in environments where transformation complexity is high and execution discipline matters.

Case Study 01

Enterprise CRM Implementation & Customer Portal Delivery

CRM Implementation • Digital Transformation • Stakeholder Delivery

Context

A large organisation required the implementation of a new CRM platform alongside an upgrade of its customer-facing portal to improve capability, customer experience, and delivery alignment.

Challenge

Disconnected systems, competing priorities, multiple vendors, and delivery dependencies created risk across customer experience, timeline, and execution visibility.

Approach

Led end-to-end CRM delivery planning, aligned business and IT stakeholders, established delivery governance and reporting cadence, and managed vendor relationships and system integration dependencies throughout.

Outcome

Delivered a fully implemented CRM and upgraded customer portal, improving delivery transparency, stakeholder confidence, customer experience, and platform scalability for future growth.

Case Study 02

System Acquisition, Integration & Business Alignment

System Acquisition • Enterprise Integration • Business Alignment

Context

The organisation undertook the acquisition of new business systems and needed to integrate these alongside existing processes and operating models into a unified enterprise environment.

Challenge

Newly acquired systems introduced fragmentation, misaligned business processes, data complexity, and high operational risk — making a disciplined integration and sequencing approach critical to programme success.

Approach

Drove a structured acquisition and integration roadmap, aligned business and IT teams across the combined environment, established governance and reporting frameworks, and balanced operational continuity with long-term transformation objectives.

Outcome

Delivered a cohesive acquisition integration approach that reduced operational friction, improved cross-team alignment across both legacy and new systems, and established a sustainable platform for ongoing business growth.

Case Study 03 · Arts

An Evening of Opera & Song — Memorial Concert Delivery

Event Project Management • Arts & Entertainment • Six-Week Delivery

Context

A free memorial opera recital honouring the late tenor Steve Davislim required full project management from concept through to opening night, bringing together international and Australian performers for a one-off public event.

Challenge

The concert had to be planned, promoted, and delivered in just six weeks — spanning a new website, an online ticketing system, social media promotion, venue logistics, and coordination with performers travelling from overseas, alongside VIP guests from the Australian arts industry.

Approach

Led end-to-end delivery across parallel workstreams: built the concert website and an online ticketing portal via Humanitix, produced social media and print promotional content, coordinated venue and front-of-house logistics with the host school, and managed performer and VIP guest arrangements.

Outcome

Delivered a fully realised memorial concert within the six-week window — website live, tickets issued through the online portal, promotional content published across social channels, and a smooth evening attended by international and Australian performers and VIP guests from the Australian arts industry.
